arms poised, beautifully
sun nearer than before
body laid bare, all to see
though round her, none near.

the birds chirp, the leaves rustle
air moving her hair slowly
the rush of water, roaring
the beauty all around her.

waterfall of deepest blue,
edges splashing white steam,
the end pressing roughly
pushing, forcing, separating.

her body dipping as she prepares
this, her last trip of this world
the sound of wind rushing
no longer gently brushing

the plunging, the surging, the filling
all around her, surrounding her warmly
for once, being hugged lovingly
for once, her inner self finds peace

filling her body, filling her soul
the beautiful blues of her one friend
no longer scared, no longer hurt
no longer here, no more to love
